Being entrepeneurs ourselves at Aries Forth we know that any form of web entrepeneural angel investors/venture can be hard. At this event we hope to promote and support new web companies to get some capital and put you on the road to success and recognition that you deserve.

At present your business might not have a complete founding team, the product itself might be incomplete and the business model might not be as polished as you had hoped!

The point Aries Forth would like to affirm: If your idea is innovative enough to network with other IT and online marketing professionals, then we would like to receive your application. We appreciate that from the event you will be introduced to the right connections and with the financial support, we hope your company will change and increase interest in Web 2.0 technologies!

Qualifers for entry:

• Your product / service must make use of the Internet, using web 2.0. Ideally, but not exclusively, it would be better that the company is an established private company in the web 2.0, internet, cloud, integrated web 2.0 gadget area.
  
• Your company HAS NOT RAISED angel/venture capital at this stage or has changed name/identity with the same development. We understand that starting bank loans and small lends are crucial to your business to date. In effect this should not be more than £100,000 in funding.
  
• You must be a founder with development or a co-founder with development experience and not reselling or redeveloping an existing product. The developer or yourself MUST be capable of developing the product to completion.
  
• Your core product must be a breakthrough innovation in web2.0 technology or services. Examples include: Your product or service tackles a big problem in the market or an unexploited avenue that creates value to its users.
  
• Your market not constrained: You have your eyes set on International / European markets with the potential to swap your industry and market).
  
• You show commitment to succeed. Your application must go with substance and not style. It should refrain from using corporate jargon and buzz words with explaining the concept.

Web2events judging Criteria

To be considered you will present:

Achievements to date. These would include present and awaiting patents, and copyrights, any product and quality certifications, contracts plus strategic partnerships and references.

Outline of Management Team and Staff. Outline will include: present experience, track record, and team fit. Your team must have no less than two and no more than six members. People who succeed are normally those with strong visions and that can hold down the team.

A solid three -year vision: Provide solid market potential of the product and/or service. This will include the usual target market size, present saturation and penetration, market evolution, reachable customers, gross and net margins. In this part you may wish to outline how you will acheive the big money.

Your market competitive advantage. This will be judged relative to your current and evolving competitors. You must outline business idea's barrier to market entry, take-up and sustainability. Routes to market will focus on present and future distribution.

Your value creation: This will include potential for break-even, financial forecast and cash flow rates.
